What is VoodooBot?
VoodooBot is an autonomous cryptocurrency futures trading bot that analyze market conditions across multiple timeframes and data sources to identify high-probability trading setups.
It continuously scans all 660+ symbols on Binance Futures, gather DXY indice for 'outside crypto' correlation, use bitcoin agreagated order book data accros multiple exchanges.
It runs 24/7, executing trades on Binance (in simulation) and BitGet (real positions) with real-time smart position management: dynamic position sizing / take-profit / stop-loss.
It's not about 'ONE' trading strategy executed by a background human trader, but rather an evolving platform where strategies are easily built and deployed.
The CORE engine is 'human' build from scratch not using any external dependencies with Python & Java. The code is quickly evolving and there is no limit a what can be done with the architecture.
Best usage mindset is for short term swing trades. The bot operates on 5min and 1hr candles so is not efficient for long term predictions (not yet!)
Multi-Source Intelligence
Every trading decision is backed by real-time data from multiple sources:
- Price Action: 5-min and 1-hour candles across 660+ pairs
- Long/Short Ratio: Crowd sentiment — trade against the herd
- Open Interest: on each symbol are used to correlate LSR data and MCAP emulation.
- Order Book Depth: Real support/resistance from actual orders
- bitcoin only aggregated order book: because when the king move, alts follow.
- DXY (US Dollar Index): Macro correlation — when the dollar moves, crypto reacts
- Auto detection of Support/Resistance zones + trending lines zones used for position entry/exit
- Plus many internal indicators: custom build using all available variables. Many are auto adjusted in real time.
SmartPosition Technology
Trading is not just about nailing a good entry price, but also 'managing' the position during the trade execution. VoodooBot's SmartPosition system autonomously monitor each open positions:
- Dynamically adjusts position size based on market conditions
- Auto-scales position size according to BTC/DXY/LSR/OI/Support or resistance levels...
- Also close positions when conditions are not favorable, or when over extended. While keeping take-profit and stop-loss safety nets.
- All automated and monitored in real time, bot generate start and end of trade chart images. (shown under each position drop down info).

- The current bot CORE architecture send all activity, logs and trades details to private Telegram channels.
This project is not a crypto signals Telegram group, there is no premium subscription or anything to sell. To be addressed later. For the moment I just want to accumulate real stats demonstrating that this bot is profitable and can bring unique value to any serious traders.
17 Active Strategies
VoodooBot deploys 17 independent strategies simultaneously, each targeting different market conditions:
- Strategy #1 — bitcoin only, deviation Macro Score: Combines DXY (US Dollar Index), Long/Short Ratio, and Order Book depth, into a composite Bitcoin score that drives all other strategies. The bitcoin deviation score is also used by other strategies.
- Strategy #12 — Support/Resistance: Identifies key price levels using 500-hour historical data and enters at high-probability bounce zones.
- Strategy #4, #2, #17: Over-reaction detection, momentum breakouts, and mean-reversion setups across altcoins.
Built with Claude Code
Initially started as 'part-time-human-coded-project' only, the VoodooBot is now actively developed in collaboration with Claude Code (Anthropic's AI coding assistant). Claude doesn't just write the dashboard — it helps design and refine the trading strategies themselves.
This means VoodooBot just got a nitro boost: Web interface, strategy optimization, benchmarking, and, yes, new strategies developed at AI speed, giving VoodooBot a continuous edge.
Who am I ??
I'm Jonathan, a French-Canadian electrical engineer with a deep passion for coding, automation, and building data-driven systems. I've been involved in crypto for years and I'm strongly Bitcoin-focused. I believe Bitcoin is the most resilient and fundamentally sound asset in money history.
I recommend everybody to buy some bitcoin and run a bitcoin node at home. This is how you should vote to improve the world. Not financial advice!
My core philosophy is simple: steadily accumulate Bitcoin (DCA), stay rational, and build tools that improve decision-making. That said, I also enjoy trading. I treat trading like a strategic game of probabilities — not gambling blindly, but trying to maximize the odds through data, discipline, and risk management. I'm not a fan of chasing hype or speculative "shitcoins." Bitcoin remains king in my view.
I started this VoodooBot project in January 2022 strictly for myself (Learning Python and not wasting time trading in front of the screen!). I wanted a tool that gave me clear, real-time insight into positions, performance, and market behavior — something reliable, transparent, and tailored to how I trade. As I want to see things from a cool interface, I just teamed with Claude Code and started building a full web interface. And I realize that maybe some other traders could benefit from it as well, so for now, while it's still in development (and will ever be haha) I decided to make it accessible publicly.
VoodooBot reflects how I personally approach the market. The current strategies are my ideas (human coded) with little help of AI, but the next strategies will be created/monitored/modified in real time by AI (ClawBot or similar agent). Let's see how AI will do!
